"I was very ambivalent about insurance companies and their services. My car was in an accident and I called State farm to report the incident. Their services were seamless and very efficient. The claims department immediately called and completely took over the claim process. The auto rental company called immediately to tell me about a vehicle. Very, very efficient and I was pleasantly surprise. I would highly recommend State Farm for insurance coverage. Very satisfied as to how my incident was handled. Update….I totally rescind my previous endorsement of State Farm. My parked vehicle was hit. My vehicle was released by the police department on April 13th. The incident happened on the 12th. As of today, April 22, State Farm has been unable to tow the vehicle to the repair account because of non payment of storage charges. State Farm and its authorized towing, Ajero Company have been unable to simply pay the storage charges that has accrued on the vehicle. It seems that they cannot find a towing truck! They simply have not paid the storage charges from the 13th through today. Their excuse is that “the ball was dropped. In the meantime, my car has not been towed. Repair cannot commence until parts are ordered. Parts cannot be ordered until State Farm tows the vehicle. Total lack of service and the inability to correct a problem that is due to State Farm and its procedures . And the most telling; simply unable to escalate the issue to fix a problem of their making. They are not worth it regardless of their prices. Adding insult to injury, I received a letter from State Farm telling me that I would be responsible for towing charges if I did not get a release for the vehicle!"
